Document Signed as President with an attractive engraving of America rewarding a soldier for his service, Washington, December 12, 1817, granting Benjamin Cawood 160 acres of land for serving in the War of 1812. The original ticket remains on back informing Cawood that a map of his holdings is available. Though there is a small hole in the center, the overall good condition, presence of the seal and ticket, and fine dark signature, make this a desirable document.
