On Saturday, September 28, The Raab Collection lent its newly discovered historical document signed by Thomas Jefferson and Meriwether Lewis for a one-day exhibition at Philadelphia's Rosenbach Museum and Library.
The document, a founding piece in the history of the Library of Congress, connects the people's library with Jefferson, its ideological founder, and Meriwether Lewis, the exporer, with his Presidential patron. It is an extremely rare historical document connecting the two.
