We appear frequently on national media, and this month was another example. George Washingon is the only president to personally sign discharge papers for military service. And when someone approached National Geographic's new television program "America's Lost Treasures" looking to get as much information as possible about Washington, and his autographs and documents, they know where to turn.
Last night, NatGeo aired an episode of the program featuring Steven Raab as its "expert in historical documents."
Steven spoke about authenticity, scarcity and assessment of George Washington autographs and examined the discharge paper that was the subject of the show. He also discussed the Revolutionary War history of the document, and of the historic building in which the segment was filmed.
