Walt Disney created an anti-Nazi propaganda short film produced in 1942 and released on January 1, 1943. It was designed to promote the U.S. war effort.
This is a reproduction cel from that very short, showing Donald Duck – one of Disney’s two iconic characters – flipping out on the phone, matted and boldly signed by Disney on the mat underneath the image. The presentation is large – 15 by 16 inches. We carried this wonderful and evocative piece of art over two decades ago, and have just now reacquired it from the collector.
